Giro XAR Helmet

Designed for the rigors of trail riding, the Giro XAR Helmet merges lightweight protection with enhanced venting and extended coverage from the elements. The helmet's In-Mold construction consists of an EPS liner that's fused to a polycarbonate shell made of DuPont Nylon. Essentially, this construction technique not only provides protection from nasty spills on the trail, but it also reduces weight, while allowing for the inclusion of better ventilation. In fact, the XAR features 17 Wind Tunnel vents strategically placed to move heat and moisture off your head for a cool, well-ventilated feel. Its P. O. V. visor deflects harsh sun, passing showers, and trailside brush when you're riding in a wide variety of conditions. X-Static lining material cuts down on funky odor build-up, especially when you're riding on a hot summer day. Moreover, you'll find a Roc Loc 5 fit system for a micro-adjustable fit with the twist of a dial, with fore and aft height adjustments for a more fully customized fit.
